The IRK counted about 3000 Rottweilers in their club and the main Rottweiler stud dog named Ralph Vom Necktar. After several years ago the ADRK (“Allegmeiner Deutscher Rottweiler Klub”) club established and ADRK now recognized worldwide as the parent club of Germany. Nearly 4,000 Rottweilers registered in various clubs around Germany. Beyond that in 1931, the Rottweiler dog introduced to the United States and American Kennel Club was the later recognization in the United States. Then it has become a mainstay in America, not only as a guard dog, police dog, and military dog but as a family pet.

So the recognized the Rottweiler as a docked breed. But, Von Der Musikstadt believes the Rottweiler should have the natural tail. Body Size With Height And Weight:

Tail:

Previously customarily docked Rottweiler tails but also docking is now banned in most countries. Todays’ ADRK Standard no longer calls for a docked tail and required to have a natural tail. Also, in the US, a docked tail is still a part of the AKC breed standard.
